Jaunice Wanders Memorial Scholarship AwardBackground:Jaunice was born October 21, 1975, in Caldwell, the daughter of Jerome and Teresa Wanders. She was an outstanding Caldwell High School senior at the time of her death in February 1993. Jaunice was an honor student and leader in her class. She displayed commitment to her grades in the hope of becoming an elementary teacher. She believed she could positively influence young children in order to try and make a difference in this nation’s youth. Her caring and commitment were exemplified in her academics and sports and especially her love of music. She was extremely proud to be a member of the Caldwell Madrigals, a select musical group. Jaunice was selected as one of the only 55 Idaho students to sing in the All-Northwest Choir in 1993.
