Connie Green Memorial Scholarship

Background

Connie (Constance E.) Green taught middle school at Wilson and then Syringa Middle School for 23 years. She was the 2003 – 2004 teacher of the year. Connie coached 7th grade volleyball for 18 years and her teams always placed in the top four. Connie was very dedicated to working with youth which was a major focus of her life. She always saw the best in each one and worked tirelessly to make their lives better.

Criteria

  • Graduating Senior of Caldwell High School

  • Applied to and been accepted by an institution of higher learning in the State of Idaho

  • Declared intention to major in Elementary Education

  • Demonstrated potential for for completing and obtaining a degree in Education

  • Demonstrated community service

  • Application Essay

  • Three Letters of Recommendation
