Caldwell Veterans Council Scholarship Fund

Background

This Scholarship was created by the Caldwell Veteran’s Council and friends who had a desire to honor and assist children of United States Military as they pursue post-secondary education.

Criteria

  • Be a Citizen of the United States

  • Be a child of active duty, reserve, National Guard, or retired member of the United States military.

  • Be a graduating senior from high school in the Caldwell School District #132 who will be attending an accredited post-secondary program.

  • Verification of parent’s military status by submission of DO-214 and/or NGB Form 22

  • Official high school transcript

  • One letter of recommendation from a teacher, principal, counselor, or other school administrator. The letter should include a description of student’s activities, leadership, character, and initiative.

  • College acceptance letter including address and department where scholarship amount is to be submitted.
