Brad Carrow was born and raised in Caldwell, Idaho and attended Caldwell schools, Kindergarten through 12th grade. After graduation from High School he attended the University of Idaho for one semester and then transferred to the College of Idaho for two years. After college he was employed by the Golden Rule Department Stores. He advanced from salesman to manager of stores in Logan, Utah and Hermiston, Oregon. Later, he started his own graphic design business in Oregon and then returned to Caldwell as owner of BCarrowGraphics/Copy Cats, Inc. Brad was involved in sports his entire life – starting with golf at Caldwell’s Fairview Golf Course and swimming at the Caldwell City Pool where he competed at age five. Many of his friendships were developed with his teammates from football, basketball, baseball, tennis, and golf. He also participated in high school choir and musical productions. As a business owner in downtown Caldwell he was a promoter for the “City” and the Chamber of Commerce and all its activities – especially the “Blues on the Banks” music festival. The Brad Carrow Memorial Fund was established by his family and friends when Brad passed away in 2008 as a way to remember Brad and to promote Caldwell School District #132 student-athletes to continue their education and to participate in college sports.
